FANTASTIC dog-friendly stay!

The staff offered a warm welcome upon arrival. Our Balmoral Suite was HUGE and immaculate. I found it decorated very tastefully. our dog received VIP treatment with constant treats and attention from the staff.
The bar closed early. We arrived around 11 PM, hoping for a nightcap, but the barman informed us last orders had passed. He did kindly serve us one drink though.

small roombathroom condition
i was excited, BUT the room wasn't what i hoped for. it was quite small, i booked a 'classic king room', and it was not clean enough. dust sat thick on surfaces and the bathroom wasn't super clean. it seemed staff lacked attention to detail.

The breakfast was nice enough. I have no serious complaints about it.
My room faced what seemed to be an extractor fan. I heard a constant noise. The hotel really needs to soundproof better or relocate guests away from that disturbance.

the receptionist upgraded my room which was a lovely surprise I had a traditional room with modern details The bathroom had a large free standing bath breakfast was served at a leisurely pace with many options for hot food I enjoyed the lounge area with a cute open fire. I found the food fantastic and the atmosphere pleasant.
